Chubb McCarthy

Chubb McCarthy was held at the jail in Minneapolis, Kansas. On June 28, 1888, a mob took him from the jail and hanged him. The Iowa Plain Dealer reported his death on July 5, 1888, and noted that it was one of four lynchings in Kansas within twenty-four hours.
