Christopher Witt
Christopher Witt, 42, of Layton, died on October 11, 2015, at a hospital in Brigham City after he was found hanging in the shower area of his cell at the Box Elder County Jail. According to the Box Elder County Sheriff's Office, jail officers had last seen him 13 minutes before he was discovered. The sheriff's office said deputies performed CPR until an ambulance arrived, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
