Christopher Wilson
Christopher Wilson, 41, was held at the Varner Unit in Lincoln County, Arkansas, when he was shot and killed by two corrections officers on April 7, 2016, as he tried to escape the fenced facility. The Arkansas Department of Correction said through spokesman Solomon Graves that the officers followed protocol by giving a verbal warning first and that deadly force was a last resort. The Arkansas State Police are investigating, and the two officers have been placed on paid administrative leave.
