Christopher Williams
Christopher Williams, 39, of Marysville, died at the Yuba County Jail on September 8, 2025, after correctional officers and fire personnel responded to a medical emergency involving him, according to the Yuba County Sheriff's Office. He was pronounced dead around 12:30 p.m. The sheriff's office later said an autopsy and toxicology report found a fentanyl overdose was the cause of death. A man was subsequently arrested at the jail in connection with the death, and the investigation is ongoing.
