Christopher Turner
Christopher Turner, 38, was held at the Alabama Therapeutic Education Facility, a privately owned residential program in Columbiana for state prisoners nearing release, when he was found unresponsive on February 28, 2018. He was taken to a hospital, where he died that day. The Alabama Department of Corrections said several people held at the facility appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance, and said the cause of his death had not been determined. The manner of death is listed as pending.
