Christopher Thomas Johnson
Christopher Thomas Johnson, 38, was executed by lethal injection at Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore, Alabama, on October 20, 2011. His brother, Thomas Eugene Lagos, spent the day visiting him and was the only family member in the witness room. Johnson was pronounced dead at 6:25 p.m., and his last words were "Game over." Lagos described the medical event as cardiac arrest, a description a corrections spokesman said was not accurate.
