Christopher Steele
Christopher Steele, 41, was a loving and caring brother, father, and veteran, according to his siblings, who said he lived with mental illness. He was held at the Shelby County Jail in Memphis, Tennessee, and was taken to Regional One Hospital, where he was treated from November 1, 2025, and died on November 7. The Shelby County Sheriff's Office has not disclosed a cause of death, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating his death along with two other recent deaths at the jail. His siblings say they were told nothing about what happened and want answers.
