Christopher Sean Batchelor
Christopher Sean Batchelor, 31, of Eatonton, Georgia, was found dead in his cell at the Putnam County Jail in early January 2022, shortly before 5 a.m. on a Sunday. The Putnam County Sheriff's Office said he died by hanging, left a note, and had shown no signs he was suicidal. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is conducting an independent investigation, and an autopsy was planned.
