Christopher Montrell Woodard
Christopher Montrell Woodard, 47, died on July 25, 2024, while held at the Tangipahoa Parish Jail in Amite, Louisiana. According to the sheriff's office, he told staff he was not feeling well and was taken to the jail's medical wing around 5:45 a.m. He became unresponsive and was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The sheriff's office has opened an investigation, and the cause and manner of death are pending autopsy results.
