Christopher Mireles
Christopher Mireles, 43, died on October 17, 2026, while held at the Stiles Unit prison in Beaumont, Texas. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice said he was found unresponsive in his cell and pronounced dead at 11:59 p.m. The agency said no signs of foul play are suspected, and its Office of Inspector General is investigating. The custodial death report lists the cause and manner of death as pending an autopsy.
