Christopher McDonald
Christopher McDonald, 57, died on August 5, 2024, while held at Waupun Correctional Institution in Dodge County, Wisconsin. The prison contacted the Dodge County Sheriff's Office that morning, and the sheriff's office said the death appears to be a suicide, with the investigation still open. The sheriff's office said staff responded rapidly and gave medical aid in an attempt to save his life. WLUK reported it as the fifth death at the prison since June 2023, and the Wisconsin Examiner wrote that some of those deaths have been attributed to suicide or negligent care by staff.
