Christopher Leong
Christopher Leong died on April 12, 2024, while held at California State Prison, Sacramento, in Folsom. According to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, a disturbance broke out in a housing unit and staff pinned him to the ground. CDCR said he lost consciousness and stopped breathing, and paramedics pronounced him dead about an hour later. The Sacramento County Coroner has not yet determined the cause of death, and CDCR's deadly force investigation, the district attorney's review and the Inspector General's inquiry are ongoing.
