Christopher Hinkle
Christopher Hinkle, 37, of New Jersey, was held at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility in Northeast Philadelphia when he died. His family says they were not told he was in custody and learned of his death from a hospital call. According to the family and their attorney, Jordan Strokovsky, he was beaten by his cellmate, and the family is demanding answers about how the beating happened and why guards did not prevent it. A cellmate has been charged with murder, and the jail said it could not comment because the case is under investigation. His mother said he was a registered organ donor and that his donation saved three lives.
