Christopher Hill, 36, died on February 27, 2025, at Pontiac Correctional Center in Livingston County, Illinois, while held in the custody of the Illinois Department of Corrections. The Department reported the manner of death as suicide, according to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority. A local news report said he was found unresponsive in his cell that Thursday morning and that staff gave first aid before the Livingston County Coroner's Office pronounced him dead on scene.
