Christopher Erin Rogers Jr. was held at Spring Creek Correctional Center, a maximum-security prison near Seward, Alaska. According to a Department of Corrections statement, he died on June 6, 2020, at Seward Providence Medical Center. The department did not give a cause of death, and the state medical examiner's office will rule after an autopsy. Alaska State Troopers and the medical examiner's office are reviewing the death.
