Died in jail or a lockup
Christopher Delarosa
Christopher Luis Delarosa, 32, of Austin, died on July 27, 2021, while held at the Travis County Jail. The Travis County Sheriff's Office said jail staff found him unresponsive in his cell early that morning, and EMS took over before he was pronounced dead at 6:54 a.m. The sheriff's office said several agencies are investigating the death and that the final autopsy report is pending. The Texas Attorney General's custodial death report also records his death at the jail, without a cause or manner of death.
