Christie Marie Fortner
Christie Marie Fortner, 37, of Kingman, died in her cell at the Mohave County Jail in Arizona on February 14, 2021. The Mohave County Sheriff's Office said a detention officer found her hanging during rounds that Sunday, and that officers and medical staff tried to revive her before she was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff's office said its initial investigation showed no reason to suspect foul play, and that the investigation is ongoing.
