Christian D. Ray
Christian Ray, 22, was held at Lee Correctional Institution in Bishopville, South Carolina, when a fight broke out there on the evening of July 15, 2017. He died at a hospital, and corrections spokeswoman Sommer Sharpe said he died from injuries he suffered in the fight. Lee County Coroner Larry Logan said an autopsy would be performed. The reports did not yet say what started the fight, and the South Carolina Department of Corrections said it is investigating.
