Cherika Teague
Cherika Teague, 44, of LaGrange, died on November 26, 2025, while held at the Troup County Jail. According to the Troup County Sheriff's Office, she was found unresponsive in her bed during a morning headcount, and she died at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center after being taken there. The cause and manner of death remain pending, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is conducting an independent investigation. No further details had been released.
