Charles Richardson
Charles Richardson, 28, died on September 27, 2012, at North Branch Correctional Institution in Cresaptown, Maryland. The Allegany County State's Attorney's Office said his cellmate strangled him in his cell, and a grand jury in Cumberland indicted the cellmate for first-degree murder. A Washington Post report from April 2013 described him as found wounded in his cell, with homicide investigators looking into the death. Early reports said only that he was found dead in his cell, and the cause had not been publicly released at that time.
