Charles Lewis
Charles Lewis, 49, died on May 24, 2026, at the Kenosha County Jail in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where he was being held. The Kenosha County Sheriff's Office said he was found unresponsive in the jail's medical ward dorm just after 8 a.m. and was pronounced dead inside the facility. The sheriff's office has not announced a cause or manner of death. The sheriff said the death will be fully and independently investigated, and the Racine County Sheriff's Office has been brought in to conduct that investigation.
