Charles Leon Parker
Charles Leon Parker was 70 years old when he died on January 8, 2013. He had been brought back from Florida to Georgia to await trial in Douglas County, and he became ill while held in the county jail before being moved to a specialized medical unit. He died at a medical correctional facility in South Carolina. Douglas County District Attorney David McDade announced the death and said a hearing scheduled for that Friday was no longer necessary.
