Charles Difatto
Charles Difatto was held in the Tallulah jail in Louisiana when, according to the Chicago Eagle, a mob took him from the jail and hanged him in a nearby slaughter pen. The paper reports that his brother James was taken and killed in the same way. The paper says the trouble began with the shooting of a goat belonging to one of the mob's victims.
