Charles Craig was hanged shortly after midnight on September 9, 1892, in the annex for condemned prisoners at the Ohio state prison in Columbus. The Griggs Courier reported the hanging in its September 16, 1892 issue. He was held in the custody of the Ohio state prison when he died.
