Chantez Andrew Thornton
Chantez Andrew Thornton, 21, died on March 22, 2013, at University Hospitals in Iowa City while held at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center. Fred Scaletta, a spokesman for the Iowa Department of Corrections, said Chantez Andrew Thornton died of cardiomyopathy.
