Died in jail or a lockup
Chad Jones
Chad Jones, 45, of Gadsden, Alabama, died at the Coffee County Jail in the early hours of April 10, 2024. The Coffee County Sheriff's Office said he had a medical emergency after being transported to the jail. Sheriff Scott Byrd said no foul play is suspected and asked the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency to investigate. An autopsy has been requested to determine the cause of death.
