Chad Gesin, 30, died on July 9, 2013, after being held at the Gage County Jail in Beatrice, Nebraska. The Gage County Attorney's Office said he hanged himself in a cell at the jail, not long after being placed there, and that he was taken to a Lincoln hospital, where he died. The attorney's office has ordered an autopsy, and a grand jury will investigate the death, as state law requires for deaths in custody.
