Cecil Barriner, 62, died at the Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri, on September 20, 2024, according to the Missouri Department of Corrections. The department said he died sometime before 6 p.m. that day, and that he had been held at the facility since 1999. It did not release a cause of death, and said an autopsy would be performed.
