Casey Howard Clabough
Casey Howard Clabough, 48, from Dare County, had been held at the Albemarle District Jail since December 2022. According to the Pasquotank Sheriff's Office, jail officers found him hanging in his cell on January 1, 2023. He died at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center more than seven hours later. The sheriff's office investigation determined his death was a suicide.
