Casey Blake Amerine
Casey Blake Amerine, 24, of Barnesville, died in his cell at the Lamar County Detention Center on Monday, April 25, 2011. The Lamar County Sheriff's Office said he was found dead around 11:45 a.m. and had acknowledged jail staff when breakfast was delivered hours earlier, and that he appeared to have died in his sleep. The sheriff's office said an autopsy would be performed to determine the cause of death. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death.
