Carrie Baukus, 46, of Waukesha, died at the Milwaukee County Jail in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on December 19, 2017. The acting sheriff asked the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department to review the death, and that review was pending when the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported it on January 3, 2018. The cause and manner of death had not been determined in the account published by the newspaper.
