Carr
Carr was held in the Macon County jail in Decatur, Illinois, awaiting trial. On the morning of September 29, 2018, jail staff found him in extreme distress after he choked on peanut butter from his breakfast, and he was taken to hospital on a ventilator. His family travelled from Yukon, Oklahoma to be with him, and he was released from custody so they could be at his bedside. He died on October 3, 2018, and the Macon County Coroner said the death was probably accidental, from choking and aspiration that caused brain damage from lack of oxygen and acute respiratory failure. The sheriff's office said it is investigating the death.
