Carlos Herrera
Carlos Herrera died on December 10, 2012, at an area hospital while he was held at the Central New Mexico Correctional Facility in Los Lunas, New Mexico, and corrections officials said his family was present. He had been hospitalized several times over the previous couple of years. His family said he died of cancer, while officials said they could not confirm how he died.
