Carlos Estrada died after a fight inside the Carrizales-Rucker Detention Center in Olmito, Cameron County, Texas. The death was described as a homicide resulting from the fight, and another person held at the facility, Joshua Sosa, has been charged in connection with it. The investigation was still ongoing when KRGV reported the death in July 2019. KRGV also reported that it was the fourth death involving a person held at the facility in four years.
