Carl Pearson, 53, died on June 16, 2024, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, after being taken there from the Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center in Callaway County, where he was held in Missouri Department of Corrections custody. In a press release, the facility said it had released no further details about his death. The facility said an autopsy would be conducted to determine the cause.
