Carl Luke Lowe
Carl Luke Lowe, 58, died on January 12, 2020, after he was stabbed at the East Arkansas Regional Unit, a state prison in Lee County, Arkansas. The Arkansas Department of Corrections said another person held at the prison approached him while he was buffing floors in a hallway and stabbed him five or six times with a metal shank. He was taken to a hospital in Forrest City, where he was pronounced dead. The Arkansas State Police are conducting the criminal investigation into the attack.
