Carl Dane
Carl Dane, 19, of Pinckneyville, was found dead in his cell at the Perry County Jail early on a Friday morning in August 2011. The Illinois State Police and the Perry County Coroner's Office investigated, and an autopsy was performed, but its results were still pending in the reports. Investigators said they did not suspect foul play. Dane's attorney, Brian Trentman, said he was told investigators believe Dane killed himself and that Dane had shown no sign he would harm himself. Trentman called it an extremely sad day.
