Cannon

Cannon was one of three people hanged together from a single scaffold in the old jail yard at Georgetown, the county seat of Sussex County, Delaware. A recollection printed in the Milford Chronicle in May 1925, written about sixty years after the event, describes the hanging. Cannon's body was given to Cannon's mother and buried at or near Milford. The account is the only source for these details.
