Candace Devendorf
Candace Devendorf, 31, of Roanoke, died while held at the Roanoke County-Salem Jail in Virginia. According to the Roanoke County Sheriff's Office, she was found unresponsive in her third-floor cell early on December 21, 2017, and paramedics pronounced her dead at 2:05 a.m. Preliminary autopsy results showed no signs of trauma or injury, and the cause of death awaits toxicology results. The Virginia State Police are investigating her death.
