Buddy Stevens
Buddy Stevens, 39, died early on September 22, 2022, at the Louisville Metro downtown jail, where he had been held since early September. Louisville Metro Department of Corrections officials said officers found him attempting suicide by hanging at about 3:10 a.m. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has attributed his death to suicide by hanging. The Professional Standards Unit and the Louisville Metro Police Public Integrity Unit are investigating the death.
