Bryan Aasted, 59, was held at the Honolulu Federal Detention Center after arriving there in late February 2021. Staff found him unresponsive on the evening of Saturday, February 27, 2021, and he was pronounced dead. The Federal Bureau of Prisons said the cause of death is unclear and notified the FBI and the US Marshals Service.
