Bruce Webb McLaughlin, Jr.
Bruce Webb McLaughlin, Jr., 30, was held at Pickens County Prison in South Carolina. According to the Pickens County Sheriff's Office, he left the facility early on a Tuesday morning in December 2018 with another person held there. He was found shot in the head inside a home he had entered, and he was flown to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The homeowner, who said she fired at an intruder, was not hurt.
Cause of death, as reported: Killed by another person in custody. The Pickens County Sheriff's Office says a homeowner shot him after he entered her home, and the homeowner says she shot an intruder.
