Broderick Anthony Lovette
Broderick Anthony Lovette, 31, died on July 12, 2022, while held at the Columbia County Detention Center. According to an email from Maj. Steve Morris of the sheriff's office, a deputy found him unresponsive around midnight, after he had been processed into the facility earlier that week. The coroner responded and scheduled an autopsy, and the sheriff's office said there were no obvious signs of trauma and no foul play was suspected. The cause and manner of death are still pending.
