Brittany Nicole Anderson
Brittany Nicole Anderson, 32, the mother of five children, died on February 1, 2024 while held at the Galveston County Jail in Texas. According to the Galveston County Sheriff's Office, jail and medical staff found her alone and unresponsive in a padded cell, and she was taken to the University of Texas Medical Branch, where she was pronounced dead. Her family, including her sister Robin Dennis, says they were not notified promptly, and her sister says she was a good person and that her family wants answers and jail video. Her family also says she was murdered, a claim the sheriff's office has not supported, and the Texas Rangers and the Galveston County district attorney are investigating the death.
