Brian Masterson
Brian Masterson, 35, of Palos Verdes Estates, died in August 2020. The Ventura County Sheriff's Office said he was found unresponsive in his cell at the Ventura County main jail on a Sunday night, and that he was taken to Community Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Tuesday, August 25. His family told sheriff's officials that he was a registered organ donor and they hoped his death could help save the lives of others. The sheriff's office said its Major Crime Bureau is investigating, and the cause of death is pending the medical examiner's autopsy.
