Brian Keith Deramus, 48, of Trussville, was found hanging in his cell at the Trussville City Jail early on a Monday morning in January 2015. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said he was pronounced dead at the jail around 2:13 a.m. His body was discovered during a routine check. The coroner's office gave the cause as found hanging in the cell, and no manner of death is recorded in the account.
