Brian Allen, 48, died on December 13, 2020, while held at the Volusia County Branch Jail in Florida. The Volusia County Sheriff's Office said he apparently hanged himself in his cell, and that he was found during an hourly check. He was pronounced dead at 7:49 p.m. The sheriff's office said investigators found no signs of foul play and that the death appeared to be a suicide.
