Brandon Scott Crews, 36, died on October 17, 2025, at the McIntosh County Detention Center in Darien, Georgia, where he was held. According to the McIntosh County Office of the Sheriff, staff found him unresponsive in his housing unit. He was pronounced dead at the facility.
