Brandon L. Fisher
Brandon Fisher, 32, was held at the Hancock County Jail in Indiana. The sheriff's department said he was found unconscious and not breathing in his cell on July 9, 2020, after returning from a court appearance, and that he hanged himself with a piece of jail clothing. He was taken to Hancock Regional Hospital and then Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, where he was kept on life support until he died on July 25, 2020. The Marion County coroner had not yet determined the cause and manner of death, and the sheriff's department's account of a suicide is the agency's claim, not a finding.
