Brandon Kyle Cornett
Brandon Cornett graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee and founded American Legacy Signage Company, where he served as general manager. He left behind his wife, Cristin, two young daughters, his mother and stepfather, and many friends and family. He was held at the Silverdale Detention Center in Hamilton County, Tennessee, and died on April 25, 2022, after being taken to Erlanger East hospital. His wife's federal lawsuit says he was denied necessary pain medication for back problems stemming from multiple surgeries, and that facility officials did not act on her repeated requests for a wellness check. The Hamilton County Medical Examiner listed blood clots to the lung and an enlarged heart as causes of death, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's case was closed in late 2022 at the request of the district attorney.
